The Klann manual pistons are one of the only available self contained reed switch pistons and have a life expectancy in the millions of cycles. Our thumb pistons are available both with and without illumination and in pure white, off white, ivory, red, and black. The illumination is visible from the front and sides.

The lamps, at 14 volts are rated at 16,000 hours. At 12 volts, the life expectancy is 80,000 hours. The reed switch and lamp have separate commons.

The button face is slightly concave to prevent slipping and are available with a sharp edge or slightly rounded edge. The thumb pistons press fit into a 3/4” drilled hole and when used with the available connectors are very simple to install. These can also be hard wired if desired. Total button travel is just under 3/16” and requires over 16 ounces of pressure. Contact is made approximately mid-travel.
